The Nikon 50mm Af-s and Optical Performance

Nikon 50mm AF-S f/1.4G lens – First impressions | Dave BenhamIn this post the topic that shall be covered is the optical performance of the Nikon 50mm af-s lens at various aperture settings. You will not be surprised to hear that sharpness is amazing in this lens, just like most prime lenses. Distortion is not present in this lens at all. At f/1.4 and other wide apertures, you may notice that the borders are soft and there is also a small amount of vignetting. However, if you start to use the lens at f/4 or smaller apertures, then this is one of the best all purpose lens that you can buy for your cropped sensor camera as well as your full frame camera. Chromatic aberration is also well controlled in this lens. It is almost not present in even wide apertures and you can safely ignore it. You can read up further on these aspects from any good review site about this lens.

A Thrifty Wedding

I did not really think that I will be able to have a good wedding as I was lacking in funds and even my soon to be husband was having a hard time with his finances as an accident almost a year ago nearly wiped out his savings. But we still had a budget for that though limited. So we had to find the cheapest services we can get just to get this wedding on track. For our photographer, we decided to search out for louisville wedding photographers who will offer us good and low rates. Luckily we found out this site called langthomasphotography.com which offered some real good discounts but still quality service. They are even highly recommended by most reviews we read as this is how good they are at taking wedding photos. With this in the fold, we are sure the wedding will still be great even though it is quite a thrifty one.

Tamron 18-270 Stability

With the trademark VC or vibration control feature built into the Tamron 18-270, this lens produces very sharp images. The VC stabilization system makes use of a gyro sensor much like the one Canon implements in all of its lenses. These sensors will detect any movement in within the lens and automatically attempt to compensate by moving several elements. The system is quite effective, so you don’t have to be overly concerned about camera shake when shooting with the 18-270mm lens. Compared to Canon’s IS system, the image stabilization might seem not as smooth, but in the end it is just as good at preventing unplanned blur due to hand movement. The barrel itself is also very sturdy and does not wobble at all, even when you extend the lens completely at its largest zoom. Tamron’s 18-270 is certainly a lens to consider if you are looking for quality, versatility and stability.
