The Tasmanian Devil is among the most popular Warner B cartoon characters. Often simply referred to as Taz, this character is a whirling, eating machine. This character is a favorite, but it is certainly not an accurate description of this animal. The real devil is native to Australia and the island of Tasmania. However, today they are found only on the island. These animals are the largest carnivorous marsupials in the world. They can reach thirty inches in length and weigh over twenty pounds.
